Performing Ghosts live in Paris at the place de la concorde on 26 January 2011.

You won’t find this track on James Vincent McMorrow’s beautiful debut album Early in the Morning as it’s on the Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Pt.2 Soundtrack*.

James is from Dublin, Ireland and started his musical career as a drummer in hardcore punk bands, he even learned to play drums by listening to Refused! His debut album was apparently self-recorded and shows off his amazing vocals and songwriting that is inspired by his favourite authors (go Roald Dahl!). If you like interesting vocalists like Bon Iver, Jeff Buckley, or Tracy Chapman give it a serious listen.

If you need to hear more you can check out four other songs that were also recorded in Paris for Le HibOO.

* You can’t buy Ghosts individually on iTunes, so you’ll have to embarrass yourself and buy the whole Twilight soundtrack!

About noisynoodle

I am a noisy noodle hailing from Melbourne, Australia who loves listening to noise in all forms, but preferably in music, TV and film. I’ve moonlighted on community radio at SYN-FM many years ago when I was still a “youth”. My mission is to promote live music (get off your bum and see something!), highlight interesting TV shows that are ignored by the ratings, expose some cool films and to not go deaf trying!
