Video: Black Tusk Truth Untold Video Clip

Black Tusk are a 3 piece sludge metal band from Savannah, Georgia that I slot between Cancer Bats and Red Fang (nice company, *wink*). What makes Black Tusk different from the rest? All the guys in the band share vocal duties. Now, you didn’t expect that did you?

Formed way back in 2005*, there is Andrew Fidler on guitar, Jonathan Athon on bass, and Jamie May on drums. They are very good mates with Baroness who are also from their home town. Baroness lead singer and guitarist John Dyer Baizley is their own special album artist!

Truth Untold is a song from the EP Tend No Wounds which was released in July 2013. What, you don’t have a copy yet? That’ll be US$5.99, so go raid your couch for change.

In Days of Woe is a track you can download for free during August from Google Play (if available in your region) … time is of the essence peoples!

Or spend a pesky $1 on the song at Bandcamp to show you really do care about the state of the music business (or is it just me forking out keeping artists alive?).

You Europeans are very cosmopolitan lucky as Black Tusk will be touring your way this September and October.

* What were you doing 8 years ago?

I’m going to hazard a guess and say you were eating Coco Pops! Since then you’ve matured a lot, cut down on your sugar intake and moved onto eating Rice Bubbles. Am I right?

About noisynoodle

I am a noisy noodle hailing from Melbourne, Australia who loves listening to noise in all forms, but preferably in music, TV and film. I’ve moonlighted on community radio at SYN-FM many years ago when I was still a “youth”. My mission is to promote live music (get off your bum and see something!), highlight interesting TV shows that are ignored by the ratings, expose some cool films and to not go deaf trying!
