Video: Red Fang Wires Video Clip

Portland rockers Red Fang are set to release their third album Whales and Leeches in October 2013 via Relapse Records. Whales and Leeches will be available in-store and via digital download (CD/LP, Deluxe CD/2xLP).

The deluxe editions sound like a must with 3D artwork on the cover, expanding packaging and not one, but two bonus tracks! The album features a few cameos from Mike Scheidt (Yob) and Pall Jenkins (The Black Heart Procession), and contains 11 tracks in full.

Eager fans can score a bonus track now if they pre-order the album via Relapse or iTunes. Otherwise if you are fond enough of the boys to sign up for their newsletter, head on over to the Red Fang website and pickup a free MP3 of the track No Hope when you subscribe. You will not be disappointed. It’s free remember?

In other exciting news Red Fang will start their US tour on 1 October 2013, and will be joined by a bunch of supports including Cancer Bats (highly recommended!), The Shrine, Indian Handcrafts, Radkey, Helms Alee, Dog Shredder and Gaytheist. The tour is set to wrap up in December, so get a move on and buy your tickets now. There’s only 90 sleeps until Christmas.

I am a noisy noodle hailing from Melbourne, Australia who loves listening to noise in all forms, but preferably in music, TV and film. I’ve moonlighted on community radio at SYN-FM many years ago when I was still a “youth”. My mission is to promote live music (get off your bum and see something!), highlight interesting TV shows that are ignored by the ratings, expose some cool films and to not go deaf trying!
