Video: Sarah Blasko Performing All I Want Live on Soul Kitchen

Australian singer-songwriter Sarah Blasko is about to hit the town (and wineries) with her stunning vocals and crazy dance moves this October to December. Performing across Australia for the A Day on The Green sessions with Bernard Fanning, The Cruel Sea, and Bob Evans (Jebediah) until mid-November.

In late November Blasko will be heading to Europe for a brief tour of the UK, Switzerland, Netherlands and Belgium. With dirt cheap tickets (under €15), how can you go wrong?

With the release of her fourth album, I Awake in October 2012, Sarah has released some stunning music clips in her time, and a new clip for the track Fool is currently in the works. I like to think of Blasko as Australia’s own Kate Bush, but perhaps with a slightly better wardrobe and less developed dance choreography.

Another great live track, Night & Day live on Soul Kitchen:

If you enjoyed the live clips of All I Want or Night & Day hunt out Blasko’s 2009 release As Day Follows Night, its a sad masterpiece.

About noisynoodle

I am a noisy noodle hailing from Melbourne, Australia who loves listening to noise in all forms, but preferably in music, TV and film. I’ve moonlighted on community radio at SYN-FM many years ago when I was still a “youth”. My mission is to promote live music (get off your bum and see something!), highlight interesting TV shows that are ignored by the ratings, expose some cool films and to not go deaf trying!

As Day Follows Night is most definitely a masterpiece. Each track is beautiful in its own way. Seeing Blasko live is a real treat too! Her dancing may be less choreographed than Bush’s but it’s also less kooky. (Still a little bit kooky, but just enough to be charming!)
