Video: Chet Faker 1998 Music Clip

Melbourne electro-wiz Chet Faker heads off on a 2014 Australian Tour to support the release of his funky new album Built On Glass. Nick Murphy (aka Chet Faker) has played a number of festivals over the last few years but solo shows have been minimal.

Chet Faker will be in tow with a full band, and support act is Yumi Zouma from New Zealand. The brilliant Built on Glass features the cool duo with Kilo Kesh on Melt, the first single Talk Is Cheap released in February, and guaranteed party anthem 1998 that dropped with a video only a few days ago.

The tour is reportedly in time for his birthday, however I’m not going to be rude and ask how old he is.

What a week it has been – a new Chet Faker album is out and now there is a tour to be pleased about. The soul greats must be dancing upstairs. Join in peoples, see you at The Forum!

About noisynoodle

I am a noisy noodle hailing from Melbourne, Australia who loves listening to noise in all forms, but preferably in music, TV and film. I’ve moonlighted on community radio at SYN-FM many years ago when I was still a “youth”. My mission is to promote live music (get off your bum and see something!), highlight interesting TV shows that are ignored by the ratings, expose some cool films and to not go deaf trying!
