Video: Faith No More and Boo-Yaa TRIBE: Another Body Murdered
Justice was restored for Mike Patton who overtook Axl Rose of Guns n’ Roses the other week as the greatest vocalist in modern music* by Vintage Vinyl Music’s assessment. Don’t ask me who will be crowned next week, but it will be a tall order to beat the hardest working man** in metal-rock-noise-weird-sounds!
The people who know have Patton down as able to sing 6 octaves, 1/2 note (Eb1 to E7), which is just above Corey Taylor of Slipknot on 5 octaves, 5-1/2 notes (Eb1 to C7).
Alas, this gives me ample opportunity to dust off some Patton fronted tunes for the listening public until the new king or queen is crowned. Or this might just be another excuse to talk about Mike Patton, you be the judge!

** Just ask to see the stamps on his passport, I believe he travels to Australia every 12 months on a tour of some kind. Note: This is not a complaint, more is better!
