The 2014 Melbourne Festival will feature two sessions celebrating the music and influence of Rowland S. Howard (The Birthday Party, Crime & The City Solution, These Immortal Souls) this October. The first session is a concert featuring his former bandmates and collaborators celebrating what would have been Howard’s 55th birthday.
The second session is a conversation with guest speakers who knew Howard well… his former bandmate Mick Harvey (The Birthday Party), his former bandmate and ex-partner Genevieve McGuckin (These Immortal Souls), and his former bandmate and brother Harry Howard (These Immortal Souls).
